Chichester is a beautiful Georgian Cathedral Town, nestled within glorious Goodwood and the sea, with many independent shops, great restaurants and pubs, and lovely walks.  It's a convenient place to set up base to explore the surrounding towns such as Petworth and Arundel, both well worth a look.
